I have a few years of experience creating filters on Snapchat with Lens Studio. Did you know that with Snap Camera , you can bring the magic of Lenses to your live streams and video chats on PC & Mac. The Gaming industry is continually growing, Twitch streamers have been using filters on the platform for a while now. Users are using filters for hours on end compared to seconds. Let that sink in.
In late 2018, Instagram allowed a limited number of creators to start creating AR effects for the platform with Spark AR. In 2019 we also seen several filters start viral trends. Brands can benefit from using AR on the platform in 2020. The right AR design around a product launch or campaign can make your message stand out.
Augmented reality has been used on the platform for several years now. There are features like "Hand tracking" which have yet to reach Instagram. Facebook will always be a unique platform for its unique audience.
I had the chance to sit down and chat with the guys at https://womenlovetech.com about my experience being an Official Snapchat Lens Creator.
Had a chat with Jenny Guo
who hosts "The Unemployed Graduate" podcast . We spoke about AR, tech, and how I ended up where I currently am. Have a listen!
